Invasive Lobectomy device

When performing temporal lobectomies or other invasive surgeries in the operating room, surgeons find themselves resecting cortical tissue that have nothing to do with the underlying pathology, just to have access to the area that is pathological. We have started designing a tool to reduce the amount of cortical tissue damaged (>90%) and still have remarkable results.

Alzheimer's Disease Organoid Models

A long standing interest of Nashman Labs is improving the way Alzheimer's Disease is studied. We are using unique cocktails of transcription factors to grow brain organoids from diseased cell lines while concurrently developing gene therapies to elucidate their effect.
